Terms and Conditions

We hope that you have a great experience while browsing our website. Our website is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, whenever you need to place your order. We process and ship all orders during our office hours which are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Please read attentively the following Terms & Conditions as they apply to all orders.

When ordering any product from Tissu & Co, the customer acknowledges having read the following general conditions of sale and he / she has fully accepted them at the time of placing the order. Tissu & Co reserves the right of modifying these conditions of sale at any time – but please note that then applicable Terms & Conditions accepted by the Customer are those at the time of order being placed.

1 – Placing an order

After choosing and picking the products you want to purchase, simply add the desired items to your shopping cart and when you are ready to pay, press the “Check Out” button. You will be able to create an account which will enable you to track your order as well as save your shopping cart and create a wishlist. But, if you prefer, you can checkout without creating an account. You will always have a chance to create an account later.

When placing your order and making your purchase, you confirm that:

• The correct recipient address is given. Should the recipient address details are not correct, Tissu & Co is not responsible for the impossibility of the product’s delivery and the costs related to a forwarding are at the customer’s cost.
• You are 18 years old or older. For minors the agreement of the legal representative is needed. People under guardianship need the agreement of their legal guardian.
• The payment is done in advance of the delivery of products ordered. No order will be confirmed until Tissu & Co has not received confirmation of payment of the full amount of the order.

Please note that the minimum order is 10Fr (VAT excluded)

2 – Our products

All products presented on www.tissuandco.ch are subject of the limit of the stocks available at the moment of the order. Tissu & Co reserves the right to modify the selection of products available via their website at any time. Should a product purchased is in fact not available, Tissu & Co will inform the customer as quickly as possible. You will be given the choice of cancelling or modifying your order.

Specific provisions for certain products:

FABRIC

Fabric is measured metrically and it sold by multiples of 10cm in length. We try to describe as best possible each product we sell, and we always mention the width of the fabric. As a general rule, quilting cotton is 110cm wide, while fashion fabric is 140-150cm wide. 

Please note there is a minimum order quantity which is 30cm (or 3 units).

We also sell pre cut fabric (such as fat quarters, fabric remnants, etc) which is sold by the piece.

TRIMMINGS

Trimmings, such as ribbons, bias tape, pipping etc are also sold by multiples of 50cm in length, with a minimum purchase of 1 meter.

The price listed is for 50cm, as well as per meter.

3 – Prices

Prices are indicated in Swiss Francs (indicated as Fr or CHF), all taxes included but EXCLUDING the delivery cost. These are displayed and additionally billed as the order is confirmed. 

Tissu & Co makes very effort to make sure the correct price is displayed, without being able to guarantee the absence of mistakes. Should a wrong price is displayed, Tissu & Co customer the possibility to confirm the purchase of the product at its correct price or to cancel the order.

4 – Payment

We propose the following payment methods :

• Postfinance : Paying with your PostFinance Card or via e-finance from PostFinance is a secure, reliable payment method for your online purchases. Your payment is processed through the PostFinance payment service on our behalf. Thus, we do not hold any payment or card data on our systems. For more information about the security and online payment please go to: https://www.postfinance.ch/onlineshopping

• Credit Card : We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards. The security of the transactions are guaranteed by Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode. We do not hold any payment or card data on our systems.

• Paypal: We accept payment by Paypal which accepts all major debit and credit cards. You do not need a Paypal account to make a purchase. We do not hold any payment or card data on our systems. For more information, please visit: www.paypal.com

• Online bank transfer or in-payments at the counter (Swiss Post Office or major banks): You can also pay for your order through a bank transfer or at the counter, but please note that you should pay within 3 days of placing your order and please make sure to use the number of your order in the “communications” area. If the period of 3 working days is exceeded and we have not registered with our bank the full payment, your order will be automatically canceled.

IMPORTANT: Tissu & Co will only validate orders after having received the confirmation of the successful transfer of the totality of the order amount.

We do not ship orders against invoice and do not accept checks.

Tissu & Co reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order of a client in the event of insolvency; as well as in the case of previous non-payment or litigation over payment of a previous order.

5 – Guaranty of quality

We try our hardest to provide an accurate representation of the products you are purchasing online. Please note that due to variances of individual computer screens the appearance of product photos in particular, the colour of products may vary based on your monitor settings. Please bare this in mind when placing your order and understand that the there may be variances in the colour of delivered items. Tissu & Co will not except responsibility in the case of claims. 

6 – Delivery

We process the delivery of all orders at the shortest delays possible once we have received your payment. 

All orders are delivered by the Swiss Post in second class “B Mail” service, at the address indicated at checkout. Please note that Tissu & Co cannot be held responsible for delivery delays because of errors or disruptions due to our suppliers. In the event of partial deliveries, you will only pay once for the delivery and there will be no additional cost to you. 

• Delivery in Switzerland:

All orders are delivered by the Swiss Post in second class “B Mail” service at the address you indicated at checkout. The delivery times vary between 2-3 working days.

Here are the estimated prices. Please use this information as a guide. The actual delivery costs are calculated automatically once you enter the delivery address within the checkout process:

Store pick up: You can collect any order placed on our webshop at our showroom located at Avenue de la Gare 18 - 1180 Rolle. Please click here for more information about our business hours. Please contact us if you will not be able to pick up order within 15 days or if you have selected this delivery by mistake when placing your order.

• International Delivery:

All orders are delivered by the Swiss Post in ECONOMY International service.

Please note that there is NO tracking available for this service. Should you wish to be able to track your package, please contact us before placing your order so we can give you a quote.

For international orders, please note that you are responsible for eventual importing duties or taxes.

Delivery in Europe*:

All orders are delivered by the Swiss Post in ECONOMY International service. The delivery times vary between 4-10 working days.

* Europe: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden

7 – Exchange and reimbursement

We try our hardest to provide an accurate representation of the products you are purchasing online. Please bare this in mind when placing your order and understand that the there may be variances in the colour of delivered items. Tissu & Co will not except responsibility in the case of claims. 

If you have any questions about any product or need help before placing you order, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

The customer has 7 working days, starting when items were received, to return (at his/her cost) any item purchased, no questions asked. But please contact us BEFORE sending back the item(s) by email contact@tissuandco.ch so we can give you the details on how to proceed.

Please note that in order to qualify for a return and / or exchange, the following conditions are met:

• The returned products must be intact, in a perfect state for resale, and in original packing, accompanied by the original documents (instruction manual…), a copy of the invoice or in the case of a gift, the delivery note. 
• Any product which is damaged, incomplete, or whose original packing is deteriorated, will be neither refunded nor exchanged. 
• Fabric that has been cut, used and / or washed, or has been exposed to sources of smoke CANNOT be returned
• Sewing patterns and sewing kits can be exchanged / returned only if they are NEW, INTACT, with all accompanying accessories, instruction manuals and any other documentation.

There is no return or exchange possible due to mistakes on the price, the description or the quality of the images.

We commit to replace your product with 15 working days, depending on stock availability, after receiving your items if these comply with the conditions above. If a product is no longer available, you will be entitled to store credit in the amount of the price of the article minus delivery costs.

Should you prefer to be reimbursed, we will process your refund within a maximum period of 15 working days, depending on the payment method originally used when the purchase was done.

8 – Safety and confidentiality of information

Tissu & Co is committed to ensure that the personal information provided by the client is treated with the utmost confidentiality. This information will be used only to fulfil the order(s) placed, to ensure an easy navigation through the website and to send information about our new products, special offers, etc.

Tissu & Co does not sell, commercialize or rent this data to any third party. 

9 – Responsibility

Despite all the care taken in building use of this site and its regular updates, errors may occur in the information and / or documents presented. Tissu & Co however, can not guarantee the correctness, accuracy or completeness of the information made ​​available on this site.

Tissu & Co reserves the right to correct or amend, at any time and without notice, the content of this website. Tissu & Co disclaims all liability for the use or content of the items ordered.

Tissu & Co reserves the right of modifying these conditions of sale at any time – but please note that then applicable Terms & Conditions accepted by the Customer are those at the time of order being placed.
