After a long absence, I'm slowly getting back to the blog with a short article about sewing machines!
I'm frequently asked for advice on sewing machines: which machine is right for me? which brand should I choose? what kind of machine (mechanical, electric)? etc
So, I would like to recommend to you a French site called "Coudre et Broder". This is company specialised in sewing machines and they carry all brands such as Bernina, Brother, Pfaff, Elna, Janome... and all type of accessories: machine feet, bobbins, etc.
They have a blog (in French only, sorry!) that has tons information about sewing and they developed an online tool which helps you choose the right machine for you according to your skill level, how much you use your machine, your budget, etc.
The also have really good sales promotions from time to time, so if you are in Facebook do visit their page to keep informed.
